Watertown

Situated roughly 9 miles Northwest of Boston, Watertown abuts Cambridge to the East and Waltham to the West, Newton to the South and Belmont to the North.

Watertown is conveniently located for those who work in Cambridge and has access to the Mass Pile and Route 20. There is also a bus hub in Watertown that makes bus travel to Boston and other nearby towns convenient.

With a population of roughly 35.000 Watertown is a town that feels like a city, with many main streets amply populated by restaurants, shops and major department stores. At the same time, the Charles River runs along the border shared with Newton and offers lovely areas for strolling along the river. Green space is provided by the many parts and the Oakley Country Club.

The school district is ranked above average but does not typically land in the top 20. Watertown is home to the Perkins School for the Blind. The crime rate is much lower than the state and nationwide rates.

Watertown has some great historic sites and museums and is a great town for those who want to be on the go checking out sites, shopping and dining out.
